Essence Photography Review: Katie and Vince – November 18, 2011
Our photographer was absolutely wonderful to work with, everybody loved him!!! He did an awesome job making everyone feel comfortable, and he had so many great ideas for photos! Our video guy was also awesome! He didn’t get in the way, he offered lots of great ideas, and he was super easy to work with. We would recommend Essence to anybody!!

Not only was he on time, professional, fun, listened to what we wanted, but he also remembered everyone’s name and kept us on time while taking AMAZING phots! Our photographers was phenomenal! When we first saw her portfolio, we know that her style would be completely in touch with what we were looking for. If we were to do it again, we would still make the same choice of photographer. She was a perfect fit for all of our photography needs. Her personality and easy-going nature made the shooting a breeze! She was open to all creative requests, and even poked fun at torturing the groom. When she needed to be a fly on the wall, you never saw her, but the flash was always going. We look forward to seeing our special day captured by an amazing and talented person. Going forward, we intend to recommend Essence to every couple that we know that will be getting married. Our rating would be a 20, unfortunately, we are only given a range of 1-5!

Our photographer was very professional and extremely hard working. She went the extra mile in obtaining all the pictures we wanted. She was flexible and open to any ideas and specific requests that we made. She really dedicated herself to our wedding. We can’t wait to see the photos she generated. She is a great entity to Essence and should be valued for her expertise and dedication in making a wedding picture perfection. I would highly recommend Essence to our family and friends.

“He was the best photographer ever. I was very sick that day, with a 103 fever, and he didn’t push me to do anything I didn’t want to. He was fantastic and words can’t describe the type of person he is. He made everyone so comfortable around him. My bridesmaids loved him. He was very polite and profession the whole night. He helped make our special day even more special and I would recommend him to all my friends. Everyone at the wedding loved him and I think they would be willing to use him for their events.”

“Our photographers were nothing but professional, caring, and fun! They really made the day much more memorable by suggesting completely different ideas (first meeting in the restaurant instead of the hallway). They also listened to us when we asked for certain shots. They weren’t pushy about any shots, so if we said no, they didn’t ask again–quite nice. Not only that, they jumped onto the dance floor and had a good time with us–signed our guestbook–really became like a friend on the day of the wedding!

“She was way more than excellent. She called me the week of and went over everything with me, asking me anything and everything, she was very thorough. I gave her directions to my house and she found it with no problem, was early and did all the detail shots before I even arrived. She had so many great ideas, was very upbeat and positive, during the ceremony she was non intrusive, but was there for all the important moments.
After the ceremony she gathered everybody outside to do the goodbye shots and then brought immediate family back in, she was very professional nice and extremely awesome to work with. At the alternate site for pictures she had so many great ideas, placed us in a great way, gave positive feedback and stood anywhere to get the great shot.
At the reception she was just as fabulous. She did formal pics like i asked but she was on the dance floor with us getting on the ground to get good shots even. I didn’t even know she was there she was so non intrusive.
I got many many compliments on her from the guests and she was always available to me if i needed to grab her for a pic with someone.She is truly amazing. I would recommend her to anyone who asked. She really made us and the bridal party and guests feel so comfortable. She was absolutely fantastic!”

“She was fantastic! She was very friendly and easy for everyone to instantly click with. She kept things running very smoothly and easily. She found great spots to take photos and gave me very easy to follow direction. She was upbeat and fun.
She was always getting all the great moments. There were several instances where I wondered “Oh, can you take a picture of that?” and she already had! I gave her a list of shots to take and she got it all. We were all extremely pleased with her and I would highly recommend her. We even had several guests tell us afterward that she was great and they liked her.”
