"Our photographers was phenomenal! When we first saw her portfolio, we know that her style would be completely in touch with what we were looking for. If we were to do it again, we would still make the same choice of photographer. She was a perfect fit for all of our photography needs. Her personality and easy-going nature made the shooting a breeze! She was open to all creative requests, and even poked fun at torturing the groom. When she needed to be a fly on the wall, you never saw her, but the flash was always going. We look forward to seeing our special day captured by an amazing and talented person. Going forward, we intend to recommend Essence to every couple that we know that will be getting married. Our rating would be a 20, unfortunately, we are only given a range of 1-5!"

"Our photographer was an exceptional and professional photographer! I was running behind schedule and he reassured me several times that this was completely normal-- was a very calming presence before the ceremony. Additionally, he communicated his ideas effectively and took several different types of photographs. He was also open to all ideas Tim and I had. It was a great surprise when we took photographs at North Park in Arlington Heights and he knew exactly what would work and what wouldn't, because he had photographed at the location. During the church service and at the reception he was not intrusive when taking the photographs; in fact his presence was barely noticeable! During the reception several guests asked for his card because they were so impressed with his nature. Tim and I would highly recommend him based on our experience! We are anxiously awaiting our photographs and hope they only reinforce our wonderful experience with Essence! Overall, he was integral in making our wedding day one to remember!"
